His tenure at Alcatel-Lucent was marked by leadership in various ventures and the inception of an innovative mobile television enterprise. Olivier's entrepreneurial flair was further demonstrated through the founding of a pioneering video chat startup for e-commerce, securing partnerships with industry titans such as Microsoft, IBM, and SoftBank.

Since relocating to New York in 2014, Olivier has continued to influence the tech dialogue with insightful commentary. His recent works, "Europe, Tech and War" (recipient of the Strasser Prize from France's Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques in 2023) and "Tech: quand l'Europe s'éveillera" published in Commentaire (December 2023), offer a compelling vision of Europe's ascendancy in the global tech sphere.
